Born and raised in the Rocky Mountains, Lindsey Shorthouse Stapay is well-versed in what makes mountain communities like Breckenridge & Summit County so special. After one political campaign and a software development company; she jumped on the chance to learn more about contract law while working in marketing and sales for a Real Estate Development firm. Attracted to build the first LEED Certified Residential Building in North America, Lindsey worked toward gaining her brokerage license and CSU Green Built Certificate. Directly working with developers and owners on Commercial, Single and Multi Family projects across Colorado.
300 sold units later, it was clear—real estate was her calling.
Before joining the Dwell Summit Real Estate team, Lindsey's expertise in commercial real estate and contract negotiating as the Executive Director of the Northwest Colorado Small Business Development Center. Under the Colorado Governor’s office for Economic Development, Lindsey’s team raised more than $8.4 million in capital and contracts for small businesses by assisting with business operations, marketing & finances. Simultaneously, she hosted multiple business conferences including the state’s largest business conference for women.
Outside of office hours, she takes every opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy the Summit County lifestyle with her big dog, little girl, and handsome husband.
